Master Shan runs the Mountain Temple and helps Shuyan connect to a deeper side of the Vermillion Phoenix Kung Fu. On the surface, he seems like a lofty old man. But his aloof exterior hides a hardened and powerful kung fu master. He is patient and often gives off the impression of someone entirely unconcerned with the physical world – much to Shuyan’s chagrin. He is cautious, but this is born out of decades of experience and wisdom. Only by accepting his teachings will the Princess unlock her full potential.
