Princess Shuyan was not born with the talents of a typical court lady. Rather than playing a pipa or embroidering beautiful peacocks, Shuyan spends most of her mornings training in the Vermillion Phoenix Kung Fu. Shuyan is brash, impulsive, and arrogant – far from a model student – but she’s a natural fighter with a powerful sense of justice. She’s determined to do whatever it takes to defend her homeland from those would do it harm.
